As a residential designer and Airbnb host for more than seven years, I've learned that great vacation rentals are built on the intersection of intentional design and exceptional hospitality. My own vacation rental has been recognized by Condé Nast Traveler for multiple consecutive years as one of the best vacation rentals in Midcoast Maine, and that experience has given me a deep understanding of what creates a stay that guests remember—and recommend.
